  JWs wouldn't preach despite multiple opportunities...

  i was on a date tonight, eating in a cuban restaurant owned by jws (they have never met me, incidentally, the food was really good) when i realized that there was not just one, but two conventions in town.

  one was the standard english speaking district convention folks, the other was the asl folks using the assembly hall in town for their district convention.. my date, who knows all about my jw past, tries to strike up a conversation with some of them sitting at the bar, asks them what they are in town for, etc.

  they just said "for a convention".

  I'm starting to believe that those experiences they gave at the conventions were greatly exaggerated, or completely made up.

  Besides the utter lack of logic in it-doesn't it defeat the whole purpose of wearing flip-flops?- it looks so tacky.

  What media? The majority of media outlets have made no mention of this whatsoever. Why hasn't Satan made sure that every single JW is aware of the verdict in this case?

  i was summoned for jury duty in march of this year.. if i'd been called to serve on a case involving wt, i would not have mentioned my prior association with the jw's.. i wonder if any serving on the jury in the candace conti case did something similar.. theocratic warfare can work both ways, baby!.

  Personally, I find the outcome more gratifying this way. We're not talking about embittered former members with an axe to grind. Their actions were found to be despicable by a jury of completely objective people.

  i've posted this on the wrong section so i'm posting it on here cos its sort of to topic as i know many of you have vids on youtube.

  legal department are beginning legal action against google and its uploaders regards to apostate vids that slander the watchtower and/or contain copyrighted material!!!

  my hubby knows people who know so heres my warning lol.

  WTS will never take legal action. In order to prove slander, they would have to be willing to have their beliefs scrutinized publicly.
